A bad hire does not cost you a salary.
It costs you a season.
After coaching hundreds of agencies, I can tell you most owners never run the real number.
So they repeat it.
Here is the math.
I call it the Bad Hire Math.
Number one: everything you paid.
Wages.
Licensing.
Job boards.
Number two: your time.
Hours you spent coaching and fixing, times what your time is worth.
Number three: the missed asks.
Every call they handled without a pivot question was an opportunity walking out the door.
Number three is always the biggest.
And it never shows up on a report.
Here is what I would do this week.
1. Run the math on your last miss.
Ten minutes.
Real numbers.
Write them down.
2. Find the leak.
Did that hire fail because of who they were?
Or because week one had no plan?
Be honest.
3. Price the fix.
A first week plan takes one hour to build.
Compare that to the number you just wrote down.
Here is the shift.
You do not have a hiring problem.
You have a ramp problem.
Speed to production is the number that pays for everything else.
Fix the ramp and the math flips in your favor.
If you want help building a ramp that gets new hires producing fast, that is what we do inside Ignite Agency Training.
Better every day,
