The auto quote life transition

Oct 22, 2026

Every auto quote your office runs is a life conversation waiting to happen.

Most of them end as auto quotes.

Here is why.

Your team does not need a perfect segue.

They need a practiced one.

This is the transition I teach on my coaching calls.

It works because it starts with the problem, not the product.

“While I’m finishing up your auto quote, can I ask you something real quick? Most people think about auto insurance as protecting the car, which makes sense. But out of curiosity, if something happened to you, what would your family’s plan be to keep everything else paid for? The cars. The house. The bills. The day to day stuff.”

See what that question does?

It moves the conversation from protecting the vehicle to protecting the household.

The car matters.

The income that keeps the household moving matters more.

And nobody got pitched.

Here is what I would do this week.

1. Give the transition to your team word for word.

Do not summarize it.

The exact words are what make it feel natural.

2. Rep it before the first quote of the day.

One out loud run each morning.

Thirty seconds

3. Track the asks, not just the sales.

How many auto quotes included the question this week?

That number tells you everything.

Here is the shift.

You are not adding a sales step to your auto quotes.

You are adding a service step.

Protect the car.

Then protect the person who pays for it.

If you want your team practicing this transition until it is muscle memory, that is what we train inside Ignite Agency Training.

Better every day,
